The SHIMELES ABERA FOUNDATION was founded by the family and friends of Shimeles Abera to honor his life and continue his legacy of compassion, generosity, kindness, and service to others.
Guided by Hope, Compassion, and Opportunity, the Foundation works to support individuals and families facing hardship while helping build stronger, healthier, and more empowered communities.
Our work in Addis Ababa is an important part of this commitment. Through health and wellness support, elder care, youth and education initiatives, and community-based programs, we seek to turn the spirit of Shimeles’ legacy into lasting impact.
