Our elders raised the people who are now raising Ethiopia. Too many of them spend their last years isolated: physically able enough to be overlooked, and alone enough that nobody notices when they are not.
We provide direct assistance with the practical things, and just as importantly we keep showing up. Isolation is a condition, and company is a treatment for it.
